OOS Energy are bringing to market their multi-activity unit (MAU) designed for offshore O&G and Renewables.
DP2 and self-propelled, the vessel represents the next generation in jack-ups. It has capabilities ranging from well intervention, P&A and decommissioning to operations in offshore Renewables.
Designed as a multi-activity unit the vessel’s 2 x 1200mT cranes are capable of lifting and removing most of the platforms in the Southern North Sea.
With 2500m2 of free deck space the topsides and jackets can be loaded on to the vessel for transportation and offloading at the quayside. This means no additional support vessels or heavy lifting services are required.
The cranes also allow the vessel to cross into the offshore wind theatre installing monopiles, jackets and turbines.
OOS Energy are planning two vessels. The first has an expected deliver of Q4 2020 and the second in Q1 2021.
